Are you seeking great parks for children in Fairfield County that will help keep your kids active this year? There are many children’s parks in Fairfield County some new and some that have been in their neighborhoods for many years. The Fairfield Parks and Recreations Department offers scholarships for children who meet certain criteria so if your family would like to have your children involved in activities held in Parks for Children in Fairfield County check with them for further information at their website.

For children age’s pre-K and Kindergarten there will be a summer fun two week program held at Burr, Holland Hill, Mill Hill and North Stratified locations. There will be daily activities such as arts and crafts, music as well as educational games. There will also be one off site trip.

Two of the more popular Parks for Children in Fairfield County are Calf Pasture Beach and Shady Beach is located in Norwalk CT. Another park for children is Henry Rowland Memorial Playground located in Jennings Beach across the parking lot on Benson Road. They have activities for the children and a really nice picnic area which is great for family get-togethers.
